The album set the stage for the bands' 64 award nominations, with a staggering, 27 wins, including the Grammy for "Before I Forget" from "Vol. 3". Plus headlining the biggest festivals in the world, such as Download, Rock In Rio, Hellfest, Wacken and, ultimately, the creation of the loudest, most F****ed up festival ever, Knotfest, out in Iowa.

"Every time I’ve walked onstage, it’s never been about how many people have been there because my culture, the maggots, always show up," Shawn 'Clown' Crahan said in an interview. "But as we’ve grown as a band, we have had fewer and fewer of those intimate, personal moments, trading them for massive ones." This year, the band is looking to make the Here Comes The Pain Tour "more personal on the anniversary," and, finally, Crahan would like to warn all the maggots; Prepare to have your faces kicked in!

The 2024 Here Comes The Pain Tour starts off overseas in the UK, Europe, Brazil, while the band flit back for a few summer festivals, eventually returning states side for the North American and Canada leg of the tour. Kicking things off in Noblesville, Indiana in early August and running right through the month, with one stop here at Gilford, New Hampshire's Bank of NH Pavilion on August 14th, before finishing the first leg in Toronto, Canada. The second leg runs through September to finish things off down in Iowa for the annual Knotfest at Waterworks Park. Joining Slipknot on their 25th anniversary tour are Knocked Loose and Orbit Culture for the first leg and Knocked Loose and Vended for the second leg.

The tour will celebrate Slipknot’s 1999 debut eponymous album, still the bands' best-selling album to date, with 360,000 copies sold within the first six months, it has since gone double Platinum. Get ready to hear live, "Wait and Bleed," "Spit It Out," and many more older tracks, Plus, the band have back-dated their outfits to the red jumpsuits from the 90s too!

“We loved what we did with the first record, but we didn’t even know if there was gonna be anything after that,” recalls the original guitarist, Jim Root of 1999s, Slipknot. “We just wanted people to hear it. Selling out of records and shows, having successful tours– those are goals for any band. But the dream scenario, in some ways, came true for us.”
