Cage The Elephant's “Neon Pill” Tour is in support of their upcoming sixth studio album with the same name, out on May 17 via RCA Records. Produced by Live Nation Entertainment, the “Neon Pill” Tour is hitting a 45-concert tour that will trek North America from June and run through September. This new tour and album represent a new chapter for the group after a series of traumatic events that include the death of lead singer Matthew Shultz’s father.
With this album, having gone through so much, life had almost forced us into becoming more and more comfortable with ourselves. We weren’t reaching for much outside of the pure experience of self-expression, and simultaneously not necessarily settling either. We just found a uniqueness in simply existing,” Cage The Elephant's Shultz said in a statement.
Indulge in the group’s typically offbeat pace and their new music's husky vocals as the band veers into earnest ballad territory. Prepare for a hooky singalong as they perform their new songs from their latest album, like the band's lead single, “Neon Pill,” and their second single, “Out Loud," which is the “emotional centerpiece” of the new album along with CGE's signature cathartic sound in “Cigarette Daydreams,” “Come a Little Closer,” and “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked.”
The Grammy award-winning alternative rock band is all geared up and ready to give electrifying performances and their stripped-back, emotional approach with their new music. To provide more exhilarating performances for the night are guest artists Young The Giant and Bakar. Fellow alternative rock band Young The Giant is going all out as they rock the venue with their songs like "My Body," "Cough Syrup," and "Apartment." Known for his experimental indie rock style, Bakar is set to ablaze the big stage with hits like "Hell N Back," "Alive," "Stop Selling Her Drugs," and "Right Here, for Now."
The Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, a famous outdoor theater, can accommodate around 9,000 alt-music fans. Additionally, it offers a great atmosphere and great sound that you will surely enjoy.
