Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion
The Queen Bluegrass and her band are back in a big way! They're promising to bring new music, and they're also going on a tour with other standouts of Bluegrass. Alison Krauss and Union Station will head out on the road in their Arcadia tour. This will mark the first time that Alison Krauss and Union Station are together in more than 10 years! One of the stops on this tour happens to be at The Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion on Friday, September 19th.
Jerry Douglas will be a part of this Arcadia tour. He's got some tracks that could help put the crowd in quite a mood. One of his more somber songs is certainly "While My Guitar Weeps." His music library is not all filled with sad cowboy songs, so it's going to be interesting to see what he brings to the table on Friday, September 19th.
Gallows Pole and Slim and the Devil are two other songs that you might also hear at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavillion. That's because Willie Watson is also going to be taking the stage at this concert. Talk about a lineup of sad cowboy songs that these two opening acts could put together!
This may just be the most complete Bluegrass event in years! Lucky for everyone in Gilford, New Hampshire, it's comin' to town. Hit the get tickets button today to experience this show.
What Alison Krauss and Union Station have in store for fans on this Arcadia Tour is still a bit of a mystery. They'll likely sing some of their classic tracks, like "When You Say Nothing at All" and "The Lucky One." However, they promise that by the time they hit the road, they'll have a brand-new album out. This would be the first full release by Alison Krauss and Union Station since 2011. Certainly, that means part of the show in Gilford, New Hampshire, will be devoted to promoting this new music. Over the years, though, if Alison Krauss has shown one thing, it's that she's not afraid to get up on stage with anyone. In fact, recently, a reunion with Union Station seemed unlikely since she had been touring and even releasing two albums with Robert Plant.
This willingness to sing with whoever can truly turn this particular show into a country fest like you've never seen before. Jerry Douglas and his guitar might accompany Alison and her violin or any other instrument that this multi-talented lady chooses to pick up. Before you know it, you're going to be feeling like you're at your favorite country bar in the front row with some of the best performers ever in the genre serenading your night! It goes without saying, but you probably won't see such a talented lineup of musicians on tour together again. That's why you won't want to miss this show at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion!
As is customary at this venue, you'll have a chance to be seated even if you're right next to the stage, close to the performers for the evening. Every seat in the house has a great view of the stage, but if you have a chance to pick a centered position, it is always better. That's going to allow you to command the entire stage and everything that's going on. You already know this might be the best Bluegrass country show in a while! Hit that get tickets button right now to make sure you don't miss out.
