The Grammy winning rocker has been at the forefront of heartland and blues rock since 1985. Etheridge has released some of the most iconic top 40 titles, including “I’m the Only One,” “Like the Way I Do,” “Come to My Window,” and tons more. Etheridge gained worldwide acclaim for her brilliant albums, such as 1988’s self-titled debut album, 1993’s Yes I Am, and 1995’s Your Little Secret. The Kansas born singer has earned a ton of accolades, including two Grammy awards, and she has sold over 13 million albums in the U.S.
This duo, comprising Amy Ray and Emily Sailers, has also been the biggest purveyors of folk rock since 1985. The Indigo Girls belted out powerful titles, such as “Closer to Fine,” “Power of Two,” “Galileo,” and “Least Complicated.” The duo was quick to make their breakthrough with their debut album Strange Fire. They continued to dominate the charts for every studio release they come out with. Their self titled sophomore work, released in 1989, sold over two million copies in the U.S. and remains their best selling effort to date. The album spawned the phenomenal hit, “Closer to Fine.”
