Slightly Stoopid and Dirty Heads announced that they are going on their 2024 Slightly Dirty Summer Tour. The 23-date tour, which is produced by Live Nation, begins on Thursday, July 11 in Cleveland, OH's Jacobs Pavilion and stops at other locations, including Bridgeport, CT, Virginia Beach, VA, West Palm Beach, FL, San Diego, CA, and more, before concluding on Saturday, August 25 at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix, AZ. The Elovaters will join on every date of the tour, while special guests Common Kings will join on a few nights.
The announcement comes after Slightly Stoopid and Sublime and Rome had a successful "Summertime 2023" tour last year, which saw the two bands play over 25 amphitheaters across the United States.
Slightly Stoopid’s Miles Doughty says “Slightly Dirty Summer 2024 is gonna be nuts! It’s been a minute since we did a full summer tour with our brothers the Dirty Heads and we are excited to get this party started. Joining us in the madness will be our boys Common Kings and The Elovaters taking the vibes to a new level! Looking forward to playing some new songs all summer while hitting new venues and some cities we have never played!”
“So happy to be back out on the road with our boys! Every time we get together it’s nothing but good times and I expect nothing less this summer!” says Dirty Heads’ Duddy B.
With a proud partnership with the Maui Food Bank, Slightly Stoopid and Dirty Heads are able to donate $1 from each ticket sold to benefit relief efforts for Maui.
Experienced performers at Coachella and Lollapalooza, Slightly Stoopid never fails to wow fans with their bright energy and outrageous on-stage antics. Their hits, including "Closer to the Sun," "2 AM," "The Prophet," "Hold It Down," "Top of the World," and "No Cocaine," as well as "Lay Me Down" and "Don't Stop," are beloved by their devoted followers, who go by the moniker "Stoopidheads."
As part of Record Store Day on April 20, Dirty Heads is releasing a limited collector's edition vinyl box set of "Midnight Control" ahead of the summertime festivities.
The songs "Island Glow," "El Dorado," and "Life's Been Good" are included on the deluxe CD. A limited quantity of these are available, so act quickly.
The Elovaters will join on every date of the tour, while special guests Common Kings will join on a few nights. It is anticipated that more tour dates will be revealed soon.
